THEN - The week of Christmas!!!...which is nothing but fun!

This month will fly by! Then, I will be sad because the holiday season will be over. I will attempt to keep my tree up until Valentine's.

Did anyone watch the Christmas tree in nyc last night? beautiful!!! ..and David Cook, American Idol winner..I think I can say..he is our friend! That is a post I've failed to post. We've hung out with him several times. He has been friends with our friends Kyle and Jessica for a while. They introduced us to him probably two years before Idol. The last time I saw him was.. at Prive (restaurant/bar that is no longer open) in Tulsa. He was playing acoustic on a summer night in 2007. It was the same day Hunter Roberts died. David has come back to Tulsa a few times but he has always been super busy. Maybe we will see him someday soon! Below is the tree. I must say, the topper my dad purchased and put on my tree last week looks quite similar to that of this tree. I like!

It is kind of weird not going to Texarkana at all over the holidays. My parents came here before Thanksgiving for my surgery then we went to Dallas. For Christmas, they are coming here again. They kind of like coming to us. My brother is in Tulsa too so I suppose they figure it's three against two as far as travels. They are wonderful. I'll miss Texarkana and my friends but we still plan to go and visit soon after the first of the year

Tomorrow morning is my doctor appt. I'll let you all know how it goes!

Happy end of week! ~ Megan

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important that the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes." ~ Charles. R Swindoll
