Organizing this wonderful life

So, the garage sale was step one of organizing my life. Perhaps not my life, but our stuff..for sure. They say the more organized everything is around you, the more organized your head is..which I can undersand! Of course, I could probably have a garage sale every six months! Since Brent and I have lived together for about 5 and a half years, we have accumulated quite a few things. We can thank my mother for a LOT of that :) Our house is a pretty good size for just the two of us. However, our stuff is still everywhere. As far as bedrooms, we have three. Ours, a guest bedroom that is set up nicely and then a bedroom full of STUFF...yep, all kinds of stuff. I would post a picture but I just dont think so! Instead of having STUFF all around my house, I've decided to utilize my attic and garage a lot more. This jumbo storage cabinet will be the first purchase of my organization!


Therefore, we can make the third room an actual room! Brent has a TV and weights in the room as well. He worked out a lot in there before he joined the gym. We decided we don't really want/need an office. Wireless internet is amazing. We don't print anything at this point..etc. Plus, we can just sit next to one another in whichever room with the computer if we need to use it.

I am excited about this organizing process! I've always been kind of cleaning/straightening obsessed. I'll post about a few more projects later! I hope the sun is out where you are...we have more drizzel today!
