Dinner @ Garlic Rose

Dinner was amazing! We started out with a glass of Pinot Noir when we arrived. I am upset with myself bc I forgot the wine & food menus to remember what we had. It was something like this...(there were a lot of fancy words/sauce/side names that of course I don't remember..
First Course - Crabcake
Second Course - Salad with gorgonzola, roasted grapes, pecans, etc.
Third Course - Lamb Chop with polenta
Fourt Course - baked pear with pomegranted sauce

When I first read the menu and saw lamb chop..I was not excited. It is not typically something I eat..but it was SO GOOD.

Each course came with a different type of wine, all good. The last course had my favorite! It was a champagne :) Once I speak to Josh, at Garlic Rose, I'll let you all know. They are having another wine dinner in December and a scotch dinner in November. I'm pretty certain he said I could drink wine. Brent likes scotch, yuck!

When we got home, I decided we didn't take a picture of just us.. It took some practicing, haha.




These gifts were sweet...

Brent gave me these sunglasses for our "anniversary" the day before the first Arkansas Football game...figured I could use them for the sun. I had been wanting them for several years. My first expensive sunglasses investment. Hopeully, they last forever! Yes, he wrote a note that reads..Dear Megan Bag & Paper - $2.00, Sunglasses - $Ridiculous, Making you happy - $Priceless. haha creative once again

My sweet friend, Katheryn, sent us these flowers for our anniversary. They bloomed so pretty!
