A week gone by.

Well it's been a week since my last post! I'm almost no good at this again. Let's see, I've learned I LOVE the soap channel. It plays 90210, the OC, One Tree Hill and I try to play catch up with Days of Our Lives. I probably need to get a life instead of watching that much TV, huh!

So where did I leave off. I am loving my job. Last Wednesday we had a picnic. It was fun and I got to meet some of the seniors we work with...That day I also lost my debit card and spilt coffee on myself. That night Brent and I went to Vintage, a wine bar, with our friends Jessica and Kyle. That was fun. Thursday, dang I can't remember far back anymore. Thursday night I went playing with Kristen then we got sushi and wine at her house...then, Brent and I went and listened to a band with his dad and his dad's girlfriend. Then finally the weekend! I live for the weekends. Spencer and Micah were in town..Spencer's dad had crawfish so we went there, the Brook to eat and back to Judd and Kristen's house. Saturday Brent and I shopped around all day then went to an wedding party for some friends of ours that are getting married in Hawaii- good time.


Now, back to the week! I've started walking around a huge park in town...that's a good thing! There is lots of yummie food in here. Oh! yesterday Brent got home from work with flowers for me! I was shocked and they were so cute ! He said he just thought I needed some :) I've attached a picture.

Well we are going to be staying in town for Memorial weekend...which I'm not TOO excited about! Some of our friends rented a house at the lake..BUT since we are trying to buy a house we have to focus on finding one and saving for it! So, we're gunna stay in town and find something fun to do.

My first post....

I've decided to start a blog. Today is May 15th of 2007. I had xanga for a while a few years ago. I liked posting but just forgot about it. I've decided this is a good way to remember things as well as keep people updated who are in some way interested, in this journey I call life. I love my life.

I've been blessed with an amazing family and amazing friends. I had a wonderful childhood. My brother and I have parents who have given us the world. I could never express my gratitude enough. I loved high school and I loved college. I attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After two weeks in Fayetteville I met Brent. A little over four years later, we got married (as the above picture shows). Brent is amazing and perfect for me. My best friends are friends I've had since I was little. I love them for that. I know what real friends are. I think we are very fortunate to have stayed as close as we are. I've also made some amazing new friends along the way.



Brent and I just relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I called myself "a Tulsa girl" the other day...needless to say, I had to retract that comment..it just wasn't right...not yet. I am a Texan. I love the town I grew up in. It's a close knit group of people and I didn't realized how much I liked the place until I left it behind. Visits are good. I am a Razorback. Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas are just amazing. The fall foliage is something you would see in a movie. It masks the chickens and classy people. Driving through mountains in a honda was not always easy but worth it. Anyways, Brent and I were sad to leave our friends and my brother when we moved, but we are now close to family and a lot of friends here in Tulsa!


We have a dog. He is a big part of life. I love him. He is the best dog ever...FYI. We are looking for a house. I like house hunting but it certainly is going to be a task. I HATE packing up stuff but I love to unpack it somewhere new. Moving states after 4 and a half years was very hard. I have a new job that I love. I do not sit in an office nor at a desk. I'm out in the community marketing and selling. I get to also work with the elderly which I have a big heart for.

I appreciate a lot. I love a lot people and I love a lot of things. I love my husband, my parents, my brother, my dog, my friends, my new family, pictures, music, wine, the sun, flowers, quotes, coffee, New York City, magazines, clothes, crab cakes, Arkansas football, old stuff, holidays, traveling, paper goods, Kate Hudson, the beach, weddings, books, pottery barn, keeping in touch with people, Led Zeppelin, seasons...and well more.

There is no specific point to this blog besides I like to see writing/words/pictures. It is part of my life and I can document it in that way.
